When Chris won the International Motorcycle Show's Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show this last December, he was invited to participate in the National Championship in Florida during Daytona Bike Week.  When he found that out, he made it his goal to get out to Daytona for Bike Week. Right away Chris' parents, Butch & Jo Richardson, offered to drive the motorcycles in the trailer all the way across the country so Chris could participate in the competition. They're the best parents ever! Without them this trip would have never happened.  Chris and Fiona, with daughters Bella and Faye in tow, caught a flight to Florida and the fun began.

LA Speed Shop set up a booth in The Limpnickie Lot at The Stone Edge Skate Park. They had a couple of  bikes on display and some LA Speed Shop merchandise for sale. The skate park was by far the best place in Daytona to check out some old school bobbers and choppers. It was packed with visitors from all over the world and a great time was had by all.

The best part of the trip was when Chris found out his bike McPhiz was awarded First Place for the Modified Harley Class in the International Motorcycle Show's Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show. McPhiz was up against some stellar competition and Chris was amazed and honored to be chosen the winner. With this win, Chris got an invitation to compete in the AMD World Championship in Sturgis, South Dakota. With that, Chris' new goal is to get to Sturgis...I hope Butch & Jo are up for another road trip!

Chris sends......"A heartfelt THANKS to all the builders at The Limpnickie Lot, everyone at the International Motorcycle Show's Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, everyone who took time to stop by the LA Speed Shop booth, and most of all my wife, kids and my Mom and Dad".[gallery columns="4"]
